Climate

Vancouver has the second warmest winters of any major city in Canada. Temperatures rarely drop below 0º C (32º F), yet the surrounding mountains are cold enough to support great winter sports activities. Summer months are generally sunny and dry, with daily averages of 20º C (68º F) in May and June, often rising above 30º C (86º F) in July and August.
