The Port of Nanaimo is strategically located in the mid-island region of Vancouver Island, 36 nautical miles west of Vancouver and 80 km (50 miles) north of Victoria. The port's arrivals facility is located on the waterfront in the heart of Nanaimo's downtown core and offers easy access to shops and amenities. The Port of Nanaimo is also just few minutes (18 km or 11 miles) from the airport.
